Adele Doran
Adele’s career in recruitment started many years ago with a major PLC where she rapidly rose through the ranks to be the company’s youngest Area Manager. From there she joined an independent company as they were starting out. Fourteen years later she had grown the network to 60 branches, making it, then, the largest privately owned in the UK. In 1994 started her own phenomenally successful agency and in 2002 joined forces to support Wendy in establishing Venus to continue her legacy of excellence in recruitment.

Wendy Kent
Wendy joined the recruitment industry in 1986 as the youngest employee of a multi-branch independent agency. Within 6 months she was the company’s top consultant having almost doubled the volume of temporary business. She joined Adele at her business in Camberley in 1996 and quickly built the temporaries business to the biggest and most successful in the area. Wendy’s genuine concern for her clients and candidates and thoroughness in all she does built a loyal following of which she is enormously proud. Wendy joined forces with Adele because she believes their partnership fulfills a need for an unbeatable service to the local community.

Alexia Warner
Alexia has worked in recruitment for 9 years. Over 4 years was spent with a large national agency as Senior Permanent Consultant and from there she went on to a privately owned independent agency where she built the temps desk from 50 to over 100 temporaries through honesty, speed of service and effective matching. Alexia took a year break to start a family before joining Venus and returned full of energy and enthusiasm. She enjoys the challenge and has the expertise to place the right candidate in the right position at the right time. She has a real concern for her customers and is committed to offering the very best service to employers and candidates alike. Alexia understands the importance of developing a true relationship and has the ability to partner with clients and behave as an extension of their business.

Clare James
Clare joined Venus in 2003 choosing to take a new direction away from her previous career as an Account Manager within the fast paced world of Design and Marketing. Since Clare has been working with Venus she has successfully run both temporary and permanent desks and as a result understands the business from all sides. Concentrating on permanent recruitment for the last few years Clare has developed a variety of key accounts, building strong partnerships through quality of service, listening and interpreting client requirements to achieve consistently successful matching.  Clare’s broad understanding of many business sectors gives her the ability to understand her clients’ needs and, in addition, an in-depth knowledge of Design and Marketing has given her a distinct advantage in this area

Laura Scott
Laura joined Venus in 2006 with a highly successful track record in sales, selling within both the IT and advertising sectors.  Working within these incredibly competitive sectors she introduced and grew the company’s largest accounts and increased revenue year on year.  Since working with Venus, Laura has been responsible for managing a number of key accounts, working closely in partnership with their HR function and establishing Venus as their preferred agency.  Her constant enthusiasm, up beat and positive personality has become her trade mark within the organization, and was evident when Laura won “team player” of the year award for 2007/2008!
